Billing Process
RTFPD works with most major insurance providers, including Medicare and Medicaid.
After an ambulance transport, a bill will be generated based on the level of care provided, mileage, and equipment used.
Bills are sent directly to the patient or the patient’s insurance provider, depending on coverage.
Insurance Coverage
Ambulance services are typically covered fully or partially by health insurance.
Patients are responsible for copays, deductibles, or non-covered services.
To avoid delays, please provide your insurance information at the time of transport, if possible.
